Wondra - Original Amalgam by Walfiend2 Wondra - Original Amalgam by Walfiend2
This is an original amalgam idea combining Marvel Comic's Thundra, and DC's Wonder Woman. The concepts seemed to work well together. Instead of Diana being created from clay, she was a genetically engineered, superior baby sent from the future into the ancient past, where she was raised by amazons, the Femazons of Themyscira.

Thundra is owned by Marvel Comics.
Wonder Woman is owned by DC Comics.
Wondra is my own idea, based on Marvel and DC characters.

I reckon an interesting Amalgam-esque concept would be giving Bane the Venom symbiote. Not sure what the name would be, but it'd be a scary thought.

As a matter of fact, I did design such an Amalgam. I chose the name Vein. Here is a link: [link]

Very cool. I'd like to see a team of X-Men/X-Men amalgams: Psyclopes (Cylopes/Prof X), Ice Queen (Emma Frost/Iceman), Windrider (Storm/Angel), Nightbeast (Nightcrawler/Beast), Teen Spirit (Kitty Pryde/Jean Grey), Silverwolf (Colossus/Wolverine), Superstar (Dazzler/Jubilee), Luckystar (Longshot/Gambit), Sprite (Pixie/Blink), and X-Man (Rogue/Mimic).

Nice artwork, needs a new name though. Wondra is the name wonder woman was given by granny goodness when she was brainwashed by darkseid and led the Female Furies. It's also the name Jubilee went under during New Warriors. Good concept though.

Love the design! It reminds me of a piece I did a while back that was based of another artists design. Just shows how great minds think alike! Keep up the great work!

Now here's an amalgam I never pictured. Combining Wonder Woman with Thundra is an interesting idea. Marvel doesn't have a lot of characters that could be their version of Wonder Woman (Ms Marvel and She-Hulk come close), but this was a good one. Good job. Keep it up.

It's a very good design. It combines both characters costume beautifully. I really like it.
